​AI, Simplified: A Fresh Perspective on Doing Business Smarter

AI can sound like one of those things every entrepreneur knows they should be using—but where exactly do you start?

That was the question at the heart of EVOLVE’s latest session with Mr. Ajay Pramod. By the end, AI felt a lot less like a vast, complicated universe of tools and much more like something we could actually put to work.

Mr. Ajay simplified the vast subject into practical modules, helping us understand which AI tools work best for which tasks, how they can work together and, most importantly - how to get the best out of them for your requirement. Rather than looking for one tool to do everything, the idea was to choose the right tool for the right job and let AI work smarter alongside us.

Using EVOLVE and actual member businesses as examples, Ajay turned concepts into relatable, real-world demonstrations. We could see how AI could help with everyday business tasks—from research and content to communication, delegation and problem-solving.

And that made the biggest takeaway clear: AI can change the way we work.

For women entrepreneurs in Mangalore, that shift in perspective can be significant. It encourages us to look at our businesses differently, restructure our time and ask — “What could I be doing smarter?”

The session was interactive, thoughtfully curated and paced to keep everyone engaged. Complex concepts were continually brought back to practical examples, creating plenty of those “Oh, I could use that!” moments.

The Q&A followed the same practical approach, with questions receiving clear, aptly timed and to-the-point answers. The conversation was around real business challenges.
